Our beloved mother, Zelma 'Nadine' McDonald Lolmaugh passed away on October 17, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loved ones on Saint Helena Island, South Carolina at the age of 99.
She was born in Craig, Colorado on December 10, 1921 to Bert Elmer McDonald and Ora Ann House McDonald.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 44 years (Cal Lolmaugh), her daughter Dawna Joanne Lolmaugh Coleman, and sisters Neva Palmer, Maxine Anderson, Dorothy Bryan Welch, and Roberta Summy.
She is survived by her daughers Jean Guiffreda and Joan Lolmaugh and grandchildren Debbie Coleman Garrett (Scott), Tyron Thompson (Julie), Shari Marano, Lori Smith (Paul) and several great grandchildren.
Nadine and Cal were married on June 5, 1938 and lived in the Hallwood District of Marysville, California for several years. After Cal's retirement, they lived in Oakdale, CA. In 1983, Nadine moved to Sacramento, but subsequently on to Henderson NV to be closer to her daughters. In her remaining years she stayed active socializing, taking a chance of winning at playing Bingo, and traveling to Europe.
She will be interred with Cal at Sierra View Mortuary and Memorial Park in Olivehurst, Ca. A celebration of her life is scheduled on Saint Helena Island, SC for December 11, 2021.
Although death separated Nadine from Cal for several years, they are now together forever. She is forever in our hearts.
