Zachary Taylor Peachey 25, went to be with his Savior Jesus Christ on Dec. 24, 2019. He was born to Myachiya Scott-Jones and John Daniel Peachey on March 23, 1994, in Lewistown, Pennsylvania.
Zach was a Senior at Penn College, Williamsport, Pa. and would have graduated May 15, 2020. Zach served as Vice President of Student Government his sophomore year and President for part of his junior year.
He enjoyed going to the beach with his mother's family and spending time at the Peachey cabin with family members on special holidays and occasions.
He graduated from Mifflin County High School in 2012 where he played soccer, football and was on the wrestling team.
Zach was very dedicated to fitness which was a huge part of his life. He was into bodybuilding and won three 1st place trophies at his first competition held this year at the 2019 NPC Philadelphia Classic at the Valley Forge Casino Resort.
Zach is survived by his mother, Myachiya Jones and husband Kevin of Carlisle, Pa, sister Heather Schmeding of Lewistown and stepsister Jadyn Jones of Carlisle. Aunt and Uncle Tamara and Scott Sechler of Lewistown, Pa. and their children: Malik, Kiana, and JoJo. Aunt and Uncle Kelly and Malachi D. Scott and their children, Tyler, C. Malachi, C.M. Daunte, Reign J., Kaiyah, Amara, Ian Swartz, and Mason Swartz. Survived by his father, John D. Peachey and wife Jennifer of Senoia, Ga. and their son Gaige. Aunt and Uncle Tammy and Wayne Sheppard of Williamsport, Pa. and their daughters Hannah and Rachel.
Surviving Maternal Grandparents Clifford and Rebecca Scott of Lewistown, Pa. and Paternal Grandparents are Jonathan E. and Lynn Peachey of Reedsville, Pa.
He was loved dearly by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Zach will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was a sweet and gentle man who loved with all his heart and supported everyone in any way he could. He loved the Lord and knew the gentle touch of grace on and in his life.
His memorial service will be held Saturday, Jan. 4, 2020 at 2 pm at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home Woodlawn 200 N. Main St. Lewistown. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 noon to time of service.
Interment and committal will be held at the convenience of the family.
