Yvonne "Vonnie" Weathersby Vinson, 59, of Leesburg, Ga. passed away unexpectedly Monday, October 16, 2023, at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Ga. Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 11:00 AM at East View Cemetery in Shellman, Ga. with Pastor Chad Ellis officiating.
Vonnie was born February 7,1964 in Thomasville, Ga. to the late Mary Helen Palmer and late James Allen Weathersby. She graduated from Randolph Clay High School and owned/managed a temp service for 30 years. Vonnie was most recently a home maker. She was proceeded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Vinson of Leesburg, Ga., sister Veronica Arlington of Americus, Ga., brother Christopher Weathersby of Shellman, Ga., sister Misty Hawthorne and her husband Rick Hawthorne of Americus, Ga., daughter Amanda Wiley Hoover and her husband Chuck Hoover of Leesburg, Ga., daughter Crystal Jarrell of Leesburg, Ga., son Adam Jarrell of Los Angeles, Ca., daughter Megan Friend and her husband Anthony Friend of Leesburg, Ga., granddaughter Aubrey Wiley and her fianc? Trey Walker of Warner Robins, Ga., grandson Braxton Wiley of Statesboro, Ga., grandson Christian Harvey of Leesburg, Ga., granddaughter Caley Wiley of Leesburg, Ga., grandson Evan Friend of Leesburg, Ga., and many other beloved family members.
Visitation will be held at Lunsford Funeral Home in Cuthbert, Ga. Friday, October 20, 2023, between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
