Yvonne June Beatty, a longtime resident of Sedro-Woolley, Washington, passed away on August 14, 2024.
She was born on June 24, 1937 to Forest and Alva (Bogle) Williams in Seattle, WA. She went on to meet Robert "Bob" Lee Beatty and the two were married in Yakima, WA on August 18, 1956. Bob took great care of her, allowing Yvonne to be a stay-at-home mom, taking care of her children and all of the family's needs. She was known to cook and enjoyed creating homemade meals for her family. Yvonne also worked as an Assistant Librarian and Para Educator at Sedro Woolley High School for 15 years. Go Cubs!!
Yvonne and Bob were members of Thousand Trails for many years. She was also a member of the Christian Women's Birthday Club, became the girl's leader at church, and led many a bible study during her time at Warm Beach. She volunteered at church, school, and in the community
Yvonne was invested in her grandchildren and could be found reading to them or engaging them in canning projects. She spent some time at Warm Beach in Stanwood, WA before moving to Mountain Glen in Mount Vernon, WA.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, "Bob" Beatty, sister, Wanda Mae Williams; brother Forest A. Williams, and granddaughter, Kendra Bragg.
Yvonne is survived by her daughter, Arla Rae Beatty (former husband, Javier Flores) and their daughter, Isabela Flores-Beatty; daughter, Cynda Lee Bragg (Brian); grandchildren, Erika Bragg Raymond (Chris) and great grand-children, Christopher Jr. and Madilynne; grandchildren, Tyler Bragg (Destiny), Jessica Bragg Purtell (David); Kendra's children (great-grandchildren), Chance and Brody Czapiewski; grandchildren, Austin Bragg (Kennedy) and great-grandchild, Rory, and daughter, Rhonda Smith (Brett); grandchildren, Jordan, Ashley, and Jenna.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for 2:00 PM, Sunday, September 22, 2024 at Riverfront Park in Sedro-Woolley, WA. You are welcome to bring a dish and encouraged to bring a lawn chair to stay and share at the potluck following the Memorial Service.
