Yianni Vasilopoulos, 70, of Amherst, NH, died November 23, 2021, at The Arbors of Bedford.
Born in Megaro, Greece on June 1, 1951, he was the son of Aristidis Vasilopoulos and Vasilike (Manolis) Vasilopoulos. Yianni was raised and educated in Megaro before joining the Greek military in 1971 as a driver.
Yianni immigrated to Lowell, MA in 1974 to be with his family and pursue the American Dream. Yianni accomplished his dream as the 35+ year owner of local pizza restaurant, Bravo Pizza. His stoicism and unending work ethic combined with his charismatic flair led him to become a household name in Milford, NH. Away from the pizza restaurant, Yianni loved cars, sports, guns, and above all else, his family.
Yianni is survived by Tina L. Maynard and their three children, Nicole, Aris, and Stephanie Vasilopoulos; two sisters, Maria and Aphrodite (Deedee) Vasilopoulos; beloved nieces and a nephew.
Services: Funeral services were held in St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Manchester.
Burial took place in Bedford Center Cemetery, Bedford, NH.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to any charitable foundation.
