She was born on January 12, 1929 in Richmond, Tx to Robert Lee Wheaton, Sr. and Roxy Belle (Lilie) Wheaton. Wyatt Lynn was a resident of the SPJST Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Facility in Hillje, Tx at the time of her death.
Wyatt Lynn graduated as the valedictorian of her 1946 class, from Richmond High School, where she was also head cheerleader. She married Charles Henry "Buckshot" Blase in April 1961. She was an agent for many years with the Railway Express Agency (REA), in addition to a long career as a bookkeeper. In her spare time, and more so after she retired, Wyatt Lynn enjoyed crocheting, sewing and gardening. She also loved spending time with her family. Wyatt Lynn was a long time parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and then St. John Fisher Catholic Church. She loved to volunteer and while at Holy Rosary, she served as president of the Altar Society for the church and president of the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) for the accompanying school where her joyful personality was enjoyed by staff, students, and parents alike. Then, while at St. John Fisher, she was a regular volunteer making tamales and selling them at the Fort Bend County fair.
Most who knew Wyatt Lynn knew of her love for Roy Head's performances. Any time Roy was playing a local venue, one could be certain Wyatt Lynn was going to be there.
