Windle Ray Light (WR) of Big Lake, passed away on July 11, 2021 in Gurdon, AR at his sister's daughters house. He was born on October 3, 1933 in Redfield, AR to Troy and Sarah Light. WR attended Backgate Elementary and completed the 3rd grade. He retired from Pool Company as an operator/ supervisor after 27 years of service, he then went on to work for Well Tech as well as doing odd jobs on the side. WR married Mary Lucille Pearson on August 26, 1959 and had 4 children. He had a passion for taking the kids fishing and hunting, WR will always be remembered for his hard work ethic and his main hobby eating and resting. He was preceded in death by his parents Troy and Sarah Light; wife Mary Lucille Light; first grandson Patrick Lynn Taylor; daughter Pamela Annette Coy and her husband Robert Coy; sister Ileene Freeman; and brothers Albert Earl Light better known as Bud Light and Wayne Light. Those left to cherish WR's memory are his brother Dewayne Light of Monahans, TX; children Jeannie Darnelle Brown of Big Lake, Kenneth Ray Light of Big Lake, Kurt W. Light of Midland and added son Teddy Ray Freeman of Gurdon, AR; Kimberly Annette Taylor, Lashanna Michelle Jaramillo, Christy Annette Chevallien, Amanda Diane Chevallien and Korbin Tyler Light and his mother Kanita; great grandchildren Gabriella Machelle Jaramillo, Brianna Laticia Montemayor, Sarah Bethany Jaramillo, Harley Amayah Rose Gonzales, Kydon Tucker Gonzales, Tristen Lynn Taylor and Brittany Cheyenne Hobbs; great-great grandchildren Sabastian Antonio Montemayor, Jackson Ray Olivar, Sabrina Amar Montemayor and Gianna Lucille Rose Oliver and to many nieces and nephews to list all hard workers. A celebration of WR's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 19, 2021 at the First Assembly of God Church 800 N Plaza Ave, Big Lake, TX. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a memorial donation to the First Assembly God Church.
