Willis A. "Lex" Tull III, age 73, of Middletown, DE, passed away on Friday, May 21, 2021.
Born in Dover, DE, on April 5, 1948, he was a son of the late Willis A. Tull, Jr. and Dorothy M. (Legar) Neeman. Lex served his country in the U.S. Army 101st Airborne during the Vietnam War. He made his career as a yardman for Leaseway Transportation, then retired after 27 years. Lex was a lifetime member of the VFW Post #3792 of Middletown, and the American Legion Post #14 of Smyrna. His hobbies included hunting and fishing.
In addition to his parents, Lex was preceded in death by his brother, Keith Tull. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Sandra S. (West) Tull; daughters, Kimberly A. Eargle (Sid) of Taylor, SC and Kelly T. Austin (Johann) of Middletown; and grandchildren, Dylan and Samantha Eargle and Apollo and Aurora Ross.
The family would like to give a special thank you to all of the staff at Seasons Hospice for all of the compassion and care they provided Lex.
All services will be held privately. Interment will be held in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
