Willie James Culbreath, 77, of 456 Spann Road, departed this life on Monday, November 8, 2021 at his home. He was born to the late Walter Culbreath Sr. and Etta Mae Coleman Culbreath in Ward, SC, on February 16, 1944.
An early age, he joined the Pleasant Hill Baptist church where he was a part of the Trustee Ministry.
He graduated from Ridge Hill High School in Ridge Spring, South Carolina in 1962. He worked for the Graniteville Company, Avondale Mills, and Graniteville Specialty Fabrics for over 51 years and was recognized for his dedication to the job in the Augusta Chronicle newspaper.
He is survived by a wife, Rachel Annette Culbreath of the home; four sisters, Helen Jerry of Ridge Spring, SC , Mary A. Sewell, Aurora, CO, Cora L. Dozier, Winter Garden, FL, Mattie M. Ross, Aiken, SC; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Celebration of His Life will be 12 Noon, Monday 11/15/21 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Yard with burial in the church cemetery.
There will be no viewing.
