William H. "Bill" West, 75, proud and loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away Friday, January 14, 2022.
Bill was born in Akron, Ohio, to the late William and Doris (Nelson) West. He grew up in Akron, raised his family in Tallmadge and retired to the Lincolnshire Estates in Largo, Florida for 5 years before moving back to Ohio (Elyria) a year ago. He made a career in the Machine Tool and Die Sales Industry often being the top salesman in the country. He was devoted to his family and to his beloved Indians, Browns, Cavs and Buckeyes. He also loved being involved with Tallmadge Little League Softball and playing cards with his friends, especially Euchre.
Bill is survived by the love of his life and wife of 55 years, Linda; daughters, Monica (Doug) Robinson, Julie (Jeff) Williamson, and April (Damyan) Birch, 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and many other loving family and friends.
Memorial Service will be Sunday, 2:00 pm at Hennessy-Bagnoli-Moore Funeral Home, 936 North Main Street, Akron, Ohio 44310 (corner of N. Main St. and Mildred Ave.). Visitation will be ONE HOUR PRIOR to service time (1:00 pm to 2:00 pm) at the Funeral Home.
Due to Covid-19, we request that those attending Bill's Memorial Service and/or Visitation will practice social distancing and wear face masks. If you are unable to attend, we understand, your love and prayers will be appreciated.
