Gibbstown, N.J. William Harvey Trauger, aged 81 of Gibbstown, died on Friday, July 15, 2022 at Elmwood Hills. Born in Camden, NJ; the son of the late Harvey J. and Rebecca (White) Trauger. William grew up in Riverton, NJ and graduated from Palmrya H.S. in 1959. He attended Cheyney State University in PA and received a teaching degree in Industrial Arts. He taught at Delanco Schools, worked at American Flat Glass and retired from the West Deptford Public Library. He loved to spend time with family, vacations, yard saling, antiques, woodworking, restoring furniture, volunteering with community events, and hanging with the boys on Friday nights. He is preceded in death by his wife Linda L. (Byrd) Trauger and a son-in-law, Randolph M. Minix, III. He is survived by his children, Tammi L. Minix, Russell L. (Tammy) Trauger, Donald R. (Amy) Trauger, and William D. (Kristina) Trauger; his grandchildren, Kristi, Robert, Daniel, Kayla, Wade, Evelyn, Nathan, Silas, Faith, and Maximus; his sister, Margaret (Richard) Crook. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Thursday, July 21 from 6-8 PM and Friday, July 22 from 10-11 AM at McBride Foley Funeral Home, 228 W. Broad St., Paulsboro. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson.
