William Edward Sullivan, 82, of The Villages, Florida, passed peacefully on July 7th, 2021. Bill died peacefully with his family by his side.
He was born in the Bronx New York on July 31, 1938, to Timothy Sullivan and Anna (Toohey) Sullivan. The middle child of four with brothers Tim and Jack and his sister Ann. Bill worked in construction in New York city. His work ethic and desire to take care of his family led him to start his own business and he and his loving wife Janice move their family to Philadelphia. Bill and Janice ultimately moved to Virginia where he retired before moving to The Villages, Florida where he enjoyed playing cards and driving his golf cart. Earlier in his life he enjoyed traveling especially to Ireland where his parents were born in County Kerry.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Janice (Morgan) Sullivan, his son Timothy and his brothers Jack and Tim. He is survived by his sister Ann Sullivan and his children Christine (Richard) Dugdell, Jenice (Angelo) Perone, Brian Sullivan, his grandchildren Amber (Jim) Hegeman, Kenneth Dugdell, Rachel Dugdell, Brendan Dugdell, Hannah Perone, John Perone, Gabriella Perone and his great-granddaughter Everleigh Hegeman.
A memorial service is planned for Friday, July 16, 2021, at 11:00am at Loudoun Funeral Chapel 158 Catoctin Cir SE, Leesburg, VA. All are invited to attend. The family requests that in lieu of flowers that donations may be made to Capital Caring Hospice in William Sullivan's name.
