William Marvin Sines passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of June 24, 2022. He was almost 90 years young and lived a life of purpose that was filled with hard work and determination. He was a coal miner during school summer vacations and later was a geophysical surveyor and a civil engineer. He retired after 25 years as a successful State Farm Insurance Agent in New Orleans, LA. Afterwards, he and his beloved wife of 68 years, Frances, built their retirement home on lakefront acreage outside of Picayune, MS. He was a do-it-yourselfer, a lifelong car and sports enthusiast, quick witted and always kept his four beloved grandchildren entertained. But his first concern and love was always his family. He is survived by his loving wife Frances Novak Sines, his daughters, Marva Becker, Marilyn Meek (Robert) and Maureen Sines, grandchildren Koren Boggs and Nathan Becker, Simon and Gracie Meek.
