William H. Rich. for forty years an expressman in this borough, died Monday of a complication of diseases at his home, 540 Ninth street. He was born at Cape Cod. Mass., May 2, 1840, and came to Brooklyn in 1861. He established Rich's express at the corner of Union and Court streets, retiring two years ago in favor of his son, William T. Mr. Rich was a member of Plymouth Church, and the Rev. Mr. Love, the assistant pastor, will officiate at the funeral services at his late home this afternoon, at 2 o'clock. He leaves a widow, Elizabeth, and his son, William T.
