William Staton Parker, Jr. was born in Gainesville, Texas on August 7, 1933 and passed away on December 12, 2020.
Graduating from the University of Houston with a Mechanical Engineering Degree, he worked in the Apollo space program and transitioned from that to solid waste management, and retired while working in the medical waste disposal business.
He served in the U.S. Army Combat Engineers and was honorably discharged as a 1st Lieutenant in 1959.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 32 years, Diane. He is survived by his 3 children, Matthew, Anne and Thomas; and many friends who touched his life.
Bill and Diane enjoyed the quiet country life in the town of Montgomery where they retired in 2008.
Bill was very active in the life of The First Presbyterian Church in Conroe and was blessed with the members' love and friendship.
