William Patrick Olsson, age 73, died December 25, 2020 at home in Vero Beach, FL. Born and raised in Winthrop, MA, Bill graduated from Winthrop High School and was a member of the 1964 WHS Hall of Fame undefeated NEC Football Champions. Bill attended Arizona State University where he attained his pilot's license. Bill retired as an auto mechanic and small engine pilot and moved with Debbie to Florida.
Bill is survived by Debra E. Silck of Vero Beach, the love of his life and soulmate of 20 years; his twin, Ronald of Fuguay Varina, North Carolina; Fred and his wife, Glade of Hudson, Florida; Dr. Carl and his wife, Mary of New Rochelle, New York; sister, Ambia Smith and her husband, Kenneth of Manchester by the Sea, Massachusetts; daughter, Dawn Olsson Milne of Magnolia, Texas; and stepdaughters, Kelly (Tallent) Lounsbury of Winthrop, Massachusetts and Kimberly (Tallent) Dufresne of Cumberland, Rhode Island. Bill was "Papa" to 5 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Ruth (Bostrom) Olsson.
Memorial contributions, in memory of Bill, may be made to an animal shelter of your choice.
At the request of the family, funeral services are private.
