William A. Mitchell of Port Charlotte, FL entered his eternal rest on November 14, 2023 at the age of 93. Bill was born in Rochester, NY.

Bill served in the US Army and spent his career at the Rochester Gas and Electric. Bill was also a part-time electrician and always prided himself on doing the job right the first time.
In retirement, Bill and Sue escorted trips to destinations in Florida and beyond. He was a member of the Neighborhood Watch, and the Woodpeckers and Men's Clubs in Burnt Store Colony in Punta Gorda. He and Sue were Charter members of Christ View United Methodist in Henrietta, NY and were members of First United Methodist (now New Life in Christ) in Punta Gorda, FL.
A committal service will be held at Charlotte Memorial Gardens in Punta Gorda on November 20 at 2:00 pm. A Service of Remembrance will be held at New Life in Christ Church in Punta Gorda at a latter time. Contributions in Bill's name may be made to New Life in Christ or the Peace River Wildlife Center.
