William Thomas Loveless, 86, passed away peacefully at his daughter's home on Thursday, September 1, 2022. Mr. Loveless was preceded in death by his parents, William Clinton and Cornelius Acrey Loveless and his brother, Charles Franklin Loveless.
Mr. Loveless was born in Rome and spent his entire life there. He served briefly in the United States Army Reserves. He retired from Georgia Kraft/Inland, where he worked for 40+ years. He was also a licensed electrician and HVAC technician. He was a lifelong NASCAR fan.
He is survived by his daughters, Kimberly Stansell and Karen Loveless Hamilton (Joey). He is also survived by Joyce Williams Loveless and five grandchildren, Will Stansell, San Antonio, TX, Caleb Hamilton, Rome, Morgan Stansell. Plainville, Maggie Farmer, Rome, and Emma Hamilton, Rome, as well as three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at 11:00am in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, Oaknoll Chapel, with the Reverend Greg Cater officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers are asked to assemble at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, Oaknoll Chapel, on Thursday at 10:30am and include: Joey Hamilton, Caleb Hamilton, Ronny Pasley, Axel Ritcher, Jacob Farmer, and Cirilo Sanchez.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions in memoriam to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org.
