William Bland Harrison Jr.

William Bland Harrison, Jr. died on January 7 at the age of 102, in his own home, in the presence of beloved family and devoted helpers. He was third-generation born and raised in Stamford, Texas, graduated from Texas A&M, married the love of his life, Sophia, fought in WWII and returned to raise a family, work and worship in Stamford. A Memorial Service will be held at 3PM at Central Presbyterian Church in Stamford. Considered a hero by many, Mr. Harrison leaves children, grand-children, and great-grand-children who are blessed by his long life and lessons.
