William K. Galbraith Jr. of Creston Ohio, passed away peacefully, Saturday, November 6, 2021, in Akron Ohio after a battling several health issues. Bill was born to Jean Hazel (nee: Wingard) Galbraith and William K. Galbraith Sr. on July 29, 1959 in Canonsburg Pa. He graduated from Twinsburg High School in 1977. After graduation he followed in the footsteps of his dad and became a firefighter and later became an E.M.T. as well. For several years he was a part of the Medina Life Support Team and Medina City Fire Department where he taught fire prevention as "HOSER" the clown.
In his spare time, Bill enjoyed NHRA Drag Racing, especially visiting, as well as working at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk Ohio. He also enjoyed his most recent job at COMPAK in Wooster. Bill was a hard worker and dedicated himself to his work.
Preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. William is survived by his wife of 21 years, Sharon (nee: Hitt); stepdaughter, Stephanie Roten; daughters, Jessica and Andrea; granddaughter, Ella Jean all of Ohio; sister, Kimberly of South Carolina; and stepmother, Carol.
Visitation will be held at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 1376 High Street, Wadsworth, on Monday November 22, 2021 from 3:30pm-4:30pm. A Celebration of life service will follow at 4:30pm with Rev. Don Bolich officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any animal rescue or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in his name, as Bill was a strong supporter for these organizations.
