William "Bill" Obe Conner, 92, of Richmond, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2019, at his home.
Born October 31, 1927, at Union City Kentucky, in Madison County, Mr. Conner was the son of Garley and Sallie Curry Conner, both of whom preceded him in death, along with his wife, Mae McKinney Conner and a daughter, Linda Gail Conner.
He was the owner and operator of Bilco Machine and Shamrock Machine and was a US Army veteran. He enjoyed working with his hands, especially gardening and planting flowers. Mr. Conner was a member of First Baptist Church in Richmond.
Survivors include two sons, Dale Conner (Debbie) of Richmond and Mike Conner (Angela) of Stanford, KY; one sister, Macie Eades of Richmond; two brothers, Leo Conner ( Faye) of Union City and Slick Conner Richmond; four grandchildren, Shane Conner (Teah), DeAnna Conner, Hunter Conner (Hayley) and Corey Conner, as well as several great grandchildren.
Also preceding him in death was one sister, Elizabeth Wall and four brothers, Raymond, Kale, Earnest, and Joe Conner.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, November 8, 2019 at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home, with Rev. Bill Fort officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 - 8 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Corey Conner, Shane Conner, Logan Conner, David Cruse, Hunter Conner, and Robert Eades.
The family would like to express their appreciation to his caregivers.
