William Thomas Bloom, 65, of Kearneysville, West Virginia passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at INOVA Hospital of Fairfax, VA.
Born July 9, 1956 in Freeport, Illinois, he was the son of the late Laverne Bloom and Ruby Newell Bloom.
He was a member of Fellowship Bible Church in Shenandoah Junction.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Marcia Padfield-Bloom; four daughters, Kerin Beall and husband, Josh, Katy Gregalis and husband, Kevan, Kimberlee Hart and husband, Bryan and Kristina Cox and husband, Tim; four sons, Jonathan and wife, Hannah, Joshua, Jeramiah and Josiah; 19 grandchildren, Abbi, Rachel, Bethany, Hannah, Evie, Petter, Lyla Fae, Brianna, Dawson, Treyvon, Maddie, Justin, Esther, Zeke, Silas, Sadie, Andrea, Naomi and Melody; one sister, Linda Bloom; one brother, Dan Bloom and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
Bill accepted Christ as his Savior at the age of 18. He had a heart for missions and served in various ways. He enjoyed working with his church's AV team and loved singing in the choir. He had a quirky sense of humor and his competitive side would come out during ping pong, tennis, pickleball, etc. He loved loved talking with people and helping them.
Services will be Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 11:00am at Fellowship Bible Church, 160 Daniel Road, Shenandoah Junction, WV, with Pastor Van Marsceau officiating. Interment will follow at Edge Hill Cemetery in Charles Town, WV.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributes may be made to Fellowship Bible Church Project Nehemiah Fund, checks payable to Fellowship Bible Church, note "Bill Bloom Memorial Fund" in memo or Every Orphan's Hope Scholarship Fund http://everyorphan.org/bill-bloom
The family will receive friends Monday, June 6, 2022 at the church from 6-8pm.
