William (Bill) Keck - age 77, of Maryville, passed away Friday, May 20, 2022 At the Ben Atchley State Veterans Home.
He was a member of Zion's Chapel Baptist Church; Vietnam Veterans Association Bill Robinson Chapter #1078; Air Force Sergeants Association; and the American Legion Post #13. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Ellen Keck; brother, Mike Keck; sister, Joyce Keck; brothers-in-law, Herman Helton and Buddy Holder. Survivors: wife, Judy Keck of Maryville; daughter, Leah (Jerry) Bowling of Corryton; sons, William "Rusty" (Rachelle) Keck of Charleston, Tennessee, Junior (Betsy) Tillett and Jeff (Desiree) Tillett all of Maryville; grandchildren, Brittany, Daniel, Jared (Sara), Tyler (Davon), Bryce, Kaylee, Storm (Madison), Dane, Ryker, and Wyatt; great-grandchildren, Keyara, Brooklynn, and Sofia. Brother, Roy Otis Keck III; sister, Wanda (Carl) Sellers, and special niece, Angela Gerguis all of Statesboro, Georgia; mother-in-law, Betty Norton, sister-in-law, Janet Helton both of Knoxville; Brothers-in-law, Dale (Kay) Norton of Ringgold, Georgia and Neil Norton of Greenback; several cousins, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday May 24, 2022 at Stevens Mortuary, Oglewood Avenue at North Broadway. The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2022 in the Chapel of Stevens Mortuary with Reverend Pat Polis and Reverend Jim Malone officiating. Interment will follow at the Louisville Memorial Cemetery. Military honors will be performed by Volunteer State Veterans Honor Guard.
