William Ray "Bill" Hatfield, 69, of Seymour, IN, passed away at 7:27 PM on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at his home. Bill was born on Monday, April 2, 1951, in Stearns, KY. He is the son of Jack Hatfield and Lorraine Collins who are both deceased. On May 13, 1978, in Butterfly, KY, Bill married Vivian (Oakley) Hatfield who survives in Seymour, IN. Bill was a forklift operator and retired from Aisin USA Mfg, Inc in 2016. He was also employed as a warehouse worker at the former Swain Industries. Bill was baptized at Midway Baptist Church in Cincinnati, OH. He was an avid fisherman, a lover of all animals, played darts, enjoyed golfing, and watching 60's sitcoms on T.V. Land. A couple of his favorite sitcoms were MASH and All in the Family. Survivors include his loving wife of 42 years, Vivian Hatfield of Seymour, IN, 1 daughter, Johnetta Hatfield of Wichita, KS, 1 son, John Turner of Seymour, IN, 3 grandchildren, Dalton Ray Layton, Raena Hatfield-Hill, and Autumn Hatfield-Hill, 2 siblings, Betty Pearce and Lee Allen Hatfield both of Wichita, KS. He was also preceded in death by 3 brothers, Robert "Bob", Larry, and Jack Hatfield, 1 sister, Judy Taylor. Memorial services will be conducted at 4:00 PM on Monday, January 25, 2021, at Adams Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Crothersville with visitation from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Monday. Cremation services were entrusted to Adams Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 110 E. Howard Street, Crothersville, IN 47229. Memorial contributions may be given in memory of Bill to the American Cancer Society. The family would like to thank all the friends and family for all the love, support, and prayers during Bill's illness.
