William "Bill" Joseph Fehribach, age 87, of Indianapolis, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022. Bill was born August 4, 1934 in Jasper, Indiana to the late Victor and Lucille Fehribach. Bill graduated from Jasper High School. After high school, he served in the United States Air Force where he participated in Atomic Test Operation Castle in Marshall Islands. He obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University. Bill married Bernice Uebelhor in October of 1955.
Bill was a licensed engineer, and he was awarded Distinguished Alumni for Civil Engineering. He was the founder of A&F Engineering. He was a member of the John Purdue Club for many years. He enjoyed world travels with his wife and family. Bill was a Boy Scouts Leader and coached many sports at St. Matthew Catholic School. Bill received the Sagamore of Wabash Award given by the Governor.
Bill is survived by his children, Greg (Mary Beth) Fehribach, Steve (Lauri) Fehribach, Therese (Dr. Arthur) Coffey and Doug (Teresa) Fehribach; and numerous grandchildren. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Ferhibach; and parents, Victor and Lucille Fehribach.
A mass of christian burial for Bill will be held Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 4100 E. 56th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46220. Due to covid, the mass is limited to family only.
Bill will be laid to rest at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery in Indianapolis, Indiana.
