Wiley Randall Rose, 65, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky passed from this life on Monday, August 30, 2021 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital after a courageous battle with complications from Covid-19.
He was born on July 14, 1956 in Honey Bee, (Parkers Lake), Kentucky, son of the late Cye Jones Rose and Alma Ann Renfro Rose. In his earlier years, Randall had a passion for the outdoors and the logging business. But, he became a self-employed auto mechanic where he gained the friendship of many friends. Randall married the love of his life; Mary Ann Bolin on January 30, 1974 in Parkers Lake, Kentucky. This year they celebrated 47 years and 8 months of being together. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching western tv shows and caring for his animals especially his horses, pigs and dogs. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. "Ran" or "Wildman" as he was called by those who knew and loved him, will be greatly missed.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by an infant brother, and three other brothers; Roger Rose, Jimmy Rose and Burnell Rose, a sister; Norma Faye Rose, his mother-in-law; Gustava Watson, two sisters-in-law; Norma Lee Rose and Beverly Rose along with a brother-in-law; Charlie Hurd.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving and devoted wife; Mary Ann Rose of Parkers Lake, two sons; Trampas Ray Rose and (Tammy Coffey), Christopher Riley (Chandler) Rose all of Parkers Lake, a daughter; Norma Faye (Donnie) Morgan of Stearns, two brothers; John "Bill" Rose and Carness Rose of Parkers Lake , four sisters; Wilma (George) Taylor, Glenda Hurd, Lena (Ralph) Stogsdill all of Parkers Lake and Verna (Jessie) Patrick of Whitley City, a sister-in-law; Shelby Rose of Parkers Lake, 12 grandchildren; Samantha (Tyler) Dobbs, Jessica Morgan, Donnilee Morgan, Lonnie Morgan, Lucas Rose, Christian Rose, Gracie Rose, Corban Rose, Cody Rose, Paxton Rose, Ava Rose and Eli Rose, and one on the way, several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
A private celebration of Life Memorial Service and Inurnment will be held at the family residence on Saturday, September 4, 2021.
