Wilbur "Jimmy" Steen, 84, of Port Neches, Texas passed away peacefully Wednesday January 13, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born November 25, 1936 in Port Arthur, Texas to George Wilbur Steen and Anna Bonin Steen. Jimmy was a lifelong area resident and retired from Texaco Chemical in Port Neches as a maintenance coordinator after 36 years of service.
Jimmy graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Port Arthur in 1955 and went on to complete his BBA in accounting from Lamar University in Beaumont.
He married the love of his life, Sue Smith Steen, on February 21, 1959 and proudly served his country in the Army National Guard.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Larry John Steen; and sister, Janice "Cinnamon" Steen.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Steen of Port Neches; and daughter, Stephanie Steen of Austin; sister, Barbara Steen Mouton of Port Arthur; brother/cousin F.J. Bonin of Buna and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jimmy was loved by many and never meet a stranger.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
