Dub Crawford, 89, was born on September 9, 1932 in Wichita Falls to Westley Crawford Sr. and Nannie Ethyl Shelton Crawford. Dub passed away on Saturday July 17, 2022.
The family will receive friends at a visitation from 6:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, July 20th at Lunn’s. Funeral Services will be Thursday, July 21st at 10:00 AM at Lunn’s Colonial Chapel.
Dub proudly served his country in The United States Navy and was Honorably Discharged December 1953. Once home Dub joined Crawford Painting and Drywall founded by his Father. He later formed his own successful business Crawford Construction. He was an entrepreneur engaged in oil & gas, and in real estate including several convenience store’s.
He later met the love of his life, Martha Berry. They were married October 12, 1971.
Dub loved the outdoors especially playing golf. His favorite place, home away from home, was Ruidoso, New Mexico. He was known for his sense of humor, kindness to others, and very unique sense of fashion. He loved cars, airplanes, nature and he was a very devoted member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Dub had an infectious smile and was a friend to all he came in contact with.
Along with his parents, Dub was also preceded in death by his wife Martha Lee Crawford, and brother, Johnny T. Crawford. He is survived by his children, Mike Crawford and wife Tena, Millie Whatley and husband Rodney, Ted Berry and wife Lisa, Ronny Berry, Steve Berry and Kandy; Grandchildren, Kaely Whatley, Heather Hester and Matthew Cordell. Mallory Crawford, Justin Crawford and Lindsey, Daughter, Savannah, Great Granddaughter, Blakely Nicole Cordell, along with numerous other grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, and many Nephew’s and Nieces.

The family takes this opportunity to thank Presbyterian Manor for the love and care given to Dub during his residence there. Also, we want to thank Hospice Staff and each one that had a part in Dub’s excellent care.
