Formally of Monroe Falls- Werner Otto Wolff, 91, passed away February 17, 2022. Born December 24, 1930, in Hessen, Germany, he was the son of Erwin and Emma Wolff and grew up in Germany.
Werner departed Germany at the age of 21, Where he was studying to become a Locomotive engineer, but the program was cancelled at the end of World War II.
Werner immigrated to the U.S., became a citizen, and enlisted in the U.S. Army. Later Werner became a barber and owned 2 barber shops.
Werner married Henrietta Till, who became his wife of 63 years, and raised 2 children, David and Erich. Werner's helpful nature assisted many in need, and he sponsored many people, who have become resourceful U.S. citizens. Werner was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Cuyahoga Falls, OH.
He is preceded in death by his brother Otto Wolf and sister Anna Nennecker.
Werner is survived by his wife, Henrietta; sons, David (Randy) of Collins, OH, Erich (Cindy) of FT. Wayne, IN; grandchildren, Werner (Kayli) Wolff, Max Wolff and Raquel (Jack) Stewart. He will be missed by many.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022, from 10am-12pm at the Clifford Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front Street, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. Funeral services to follow the visitation and interment will be at Northampton Cemetery.
