Mrs. Wendy Michelle Ledford Worley, age 51, of Monticello, Georgia, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2024.
Wendy was born Friday, June 15, 1973, in Monticello, Georgia to the late Charles Leonard Ledford and Catherine Nita Crane Ledford. Along with her father, Wendy was preceded in death by her brother, Matthew Ledford. She was raised in Jackson and spent most of her life here. After marriage, she and her husband moved to Monticello. Wendy enjoyed fishing, shopping, and being with her dog, Boo. Wendy's pride and joy was her son, Tyler. Wendy is survived by husband, Dewayne Worley; son, Tyler Ledford; stepdaughter, Kristen Worley; 4 grandchildren; mother, Nita Ledford; brothers and spouses, Len and Debi Ledford, Jody and Tammy Ledford, Walter and Melissa Cochran; sister, Tracey Ledford Penland; special friends, Melanie and Karen; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The family will announce the details on Facebook. Sherrell-Westbury Funeral Home, 212 E. College Street, Jackson, GA, is serving the Ledford family.
