"Forever In Our Hearts"
Wendell Allen Stephens was born June 14, 1931, in Dallas, Texas, to Jewel R. Stephens and Ruth Otts Stephens. He passed away January 12, 2021, in Duncanville, Texas, at age 89. Wendell was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Sarabeth Lofman Stephens. He is survived by his four children and their spouses, David Stephens and Michelle, Becky Dirting and Ric, Donna Rusnak and Ervin, and Lori McKay and Kevin; eight grandchildren and their spouses, Eric Dirting and Emily, Brett Dirting and Natalie, Christy Chambers and Chris, Justin Stephens and Amy, Lindsay Parks and Kyle, Stephen Chambers, Chelsea Rollins and Tre, and Amanda Badgett and Preston; ten great-grandchildren Lennon Dirting; Harlow and Vivienne Dirting; Payton Loudamy; Vanna, Ivy and Odin Stephens; Karina and Lawson Parks, and Brooks Badgett. Wendell is also survived by sisters Mary Ruth Finigan and Regina Stephens, and his wife, Norma Boren Stephens.

Memorial services are 10:30 AM Thursday, February 4, 2021, at Jaynes Memorial Chapel, Duncanville, Texas, with Rev. Bill White officiating; followed by a brief honor service at 12:30 at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Donations in Wendell's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Dallas, and Good Life Senior Living, Duncanville.
