Wayne Heath, 75, died on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at his home.
Wayne was born on December 8, 1946 to Arthur and Virginia (Lacoy) Heath of Concord, NH. A gifted and enthusiastic multisport athlete, Wayne was active in the youth swimming program at the Heights Park, played basketball, and lettered in baseball and football at concord high school. He graduated from Concord High School in 1964, where he was president of the student council.
Wayne attended Ottawa University in Kansas before joining the army in 1968. Wayne distinguished himself in the army, becoming a Green Beret. While serving overseas in Vietnam, he was wounded in action and was awarded two bronze stars and a Purple Heart.
Returning stateside after being wounded, he worked for several local companies, including Patsy's Auto body of Concord, before entering the steel business. In 1986, he and his business partners founded All Metals Industries in Belmont, NH. After twenty-five years at All Metals, working to grow the company and develop it into a leader among local businesses alongside his friend and partner Terry Robinson, Wayne stepped down from his position as president. Once retired, he was able to spend more time enjoying his favorite activities: golfing with friends, boating, and spending time with his family.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Stephanie; his daughter, Jessica; and his sisters, Linda Blacker and her husband, Allan Blacker, and Jan Suther and her husband, Greg Suther, as well as nephews Matthew Blacker, Brandon Suther, Cody Suther and Austin Suther and niece Sarah Blacker Katz.
A Graveside Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Blossom Hill Cemetery in Concord, NH.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to cureCMD.org or the Live and Let Live Farm Rescue in Chichester NH.
