Our beloved Wayne Monroe Hamrick was born on May 28, 1949 in Caldwell, Idaho to Elberta Marie Heineke and Nicus Monroe Hamrick. Wayne, 71, peacefully left this world on January 19, 2021 at 6:35 A.M. following a sudden illness.
Wayne was preceded in death by his mother, father, sister Carolyn K. Long, and son Wayne Jr..
He is survived by his wife Loydena Hamrick, daughter Raquel Page, her children Payshence, Robert, and Johnny, fellow Marine and son Jackson Hamrick, his wife Shilo and their kids Aden and Rylynn, his son Steven Hamrick and from a previous marriage his daughter Stacey. Along with a large extended family of Aunt's, Uncle's, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Wayne grew up in Idaho, Alaska, Washington and Colorado. He became a Marine on August 08, 1966 and continued to serve his country through his service work as a member of the VFW, Post 9221 and the American Legion in Cedaredge. Wayne was also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Cedaredge ward.
Wayne's favorite pastime was his family, he doted on his grandchildren and loved watching their sports, band, and extracurricular activities.
Memorial services will be held on January 30, 2021 at 1 P.M. located at Cedaredge Cemetery, 205 SE Independence Ave., Cedaredge, CO 81413.
