Wayne Fleetwood, 75, of Elizabethtown, passed from this life at 12:36 p.m. Sunday, June 16, 2019 at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis.
Wayne was born April 2, 1944, in Bloomington, Indiana, the son of Garnold and Ruby Hillenburg Fleetwood.
Mr. Fleetwood married Katrina A. Chambers, January 16, 1966.
Wayne retired from Cummins Engine Company in 1993 after 31 years of service.
He was a lifetime member of Silver Creek Beagle Club.
An outdoor enthusiast, Mr. Fleetwood enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years; mother, Ruby Fleetwood of Hope; a daughter, Kris (Jaime) Jones of Columbus; grandson, Jace Jones of Columbus; and his brother, Dale (Sandra) Fleetwood of Elizabethtown.
He was preceded in death by his father.
The funeral will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Connie Barr officiating.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and 9:30 a.m. to time of service.
Burial will be at Sandcreek Friends Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
