Warren William Holsapple, 77, of Fort Ripley, passed away Monday, December 25, 2023, at his home with his boys right by his side. A Celebration of Warren's Life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 5, 2023, at Nelson - Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd. Family and friends are invited to visit one hour prior to services. Military Honors will be provided by the Brainerd VFW and American Legion Honor Guard.
Warren was born August 3, 1946, in Brainerd, the son of Charles and Mabel (Fleischhacker) Holsapple. He grew up in Fort Ripley and graduated from Washington High School in Brainerd in 1964. Warren married Peggy Pint on July 13, 1968. He joined the National Guard and served for 13 years. Warren worked for Thelen Heating for many years. He enjoyed cutting wood, hunting, fishing, and gardening. He liked music and playing his guitar, especially for his family. Most of all he cherished raising his boys - Clinton and Craig.
Warren will be missed by his sons, Clinton (Lisa) and Craig (Sara); sister, Vicky; sister-in-law, Ruby Tomberlin; brothers-in-law, Gerald Pint and Jerome Rudolph; eight grandchildren, Matthew (Amanda) Holsapple, Jennifer (John) Schreiner, Tayler (Shane) Holsapple, Sacha (Jeremiah) Menth, Logan (Amber) Holsapple, Samantha (Samuel) Dolan, Alex Holsapple and Austyn Holsapple; and 10 great-grandchildren, Easton, Eli, and Landon Holsapple, Emelia and Kinsley Schreiner, Aria Holman, Theodore Menth, Lydia and Nova Holsapple, and Emily Dolan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy; parents; brother, Pat; sisters, Diane and Gert (Ian) Tougas; sisters-in-law, Isabella Zinbrickin, Geraldine Rudolph, Rosemary McCarthy, and Janet Canterbury; and brothers-in-law, James and Bobby Pint.
