Wanda Kay Lineberry, 85, of Pendleton, is set to be celebrated and remembered on a bittersweet day-February 24, 2025, which was also her birthday. Wanda was born on February 24, 1940, to Edward Bowen Hallowell and Goldie Mae (Shull) Hallowell.
She married her best friend, David Lineberry, on April 2, 1966, and together they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and an endless supply of delicious desserts made by Wanda herself. She earned her bachelor's degree from Anderson University and master's degree from Ball State University in education and dedicated many years to teaching at Anderson Community Schools before retiring.
Family and friends, especially her retired teacher colleagues, will remember Wanda as a nurturing and caring soul. She had a knack for bringing people together around the dinner table, always ready with their favorite meals.
