Wanda Jean Jackson Crawford, daughter of the late Willie Jackson, Sr. and Elma Wilson, was born on August 26, 1951, in Ralls, TX. She was raised by the late Euretta Standifer Jackson. She attended the public schools of Ector County and graduated in Ector High School in 1969. At an early age, she professed her faith in Jesus Christ.
She married Deacon Arvis L. Crawford in June of 1992. Deacon Crawford preceded her in death in November of 2002.
Sis. Crawford was a faithful member of Hopewell Community Church under the leadership of Pastor Milton Taylor. She served as a member/secretary of SSOG, P.A.C treasurer, and announcement clerk.
On Monday, December 23, 2024, Sis. Crawford found peaceful rest. She was preceded in death by her brother, Willie Jackon, Jr., and sisters, Barbara Shelton-Maynor, Mildred Dixon-Hemphill, Darlene Jackson, and Daphene Jackson.
Her life will be cherished by the following: her children: Jerome Jackson, and Lawrence Crawford; grandchildren: Montreal Jackson and six bonus grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; brothers, Thomas Jackson, and Billy Wilson; sisters: Gwendalyn Arnold-Gillespie, Lindsey Wilson, Patricia Johnson; devoted family members; a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Service will be on Saturday, January 4, 2025; 12:00 pm at Hopewell Community Church, 617 Ave. F. Conroe, Texas 77301. Pastor Milton Taylor - Officiant.
