Wanda Bitner Rimmer Huff - age 81 of Lenoir City went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, surrounded by her loving family and her beloved dog, Mikki. She retired from First TN Bank, East End, after 30 years of service. Wanda was an active and faithful member of Clear Springs Baptist Church and played the organ for many years at the church. She was instrumental in setting up a ministry for making Prayer Shawls and Afghans which she made herself. She also made hats for babies and mittens and hot chocolate for the homeless. Preceded in death by parents, Lucky and Queen Bitner; first husband, Carlos Rimmer; second husband, David Huff; and step-son, Victor Huff. Survived by sons, Steve (Marsha) Rimmer, William (Kathy) Rimmer; grandson, Justin Rimmer, all of Knoxville; step-daughters, Karen Bullock, Jenny Huff; and Kelli Jo Huff, all of California; and several nieces, nephews and other extended family members. The family will receive friends 12:00-2:00 PM Saturday, February 13, 2021, at Bridges Funeral Home with the funeral service at 2:00 PM with Rev. Charlie Lynch, Rev. Allen England, and Rev. William Rimmer officiating followed by a procession to Asbury Cemetery for the interment. Pallbearers: Ernie Tullock, Jimmy Farmer, Joseph Wallace, Harold Witt, Kent Milsaps, and Rick Leake.
