Wanda (Perry) Clevenger, 60, of Frederick MD, passed away peacefully at her home after a lengthy illness on the morning of September 29th 2022. Wanda was born on October 22, 1961 to parents James Roger Perry Sr. and Margaret Louise Perry. She was the wife of Chris Clevenger until his death on October 9th 2000.
Wanda worked at the Comus Inn for many years where friendships were formed that lasted a lifetime. She enjoyed crafting, county music and spending time with her youngest BFF, her grand-niece Aaliyah Wright. She also loved spending time at her favorite place, Riverbend Campground in WV. with her favorite person, Lori Ann ("my sister"). It was at "the river" where she enjoyed golf cart rides and swimming.
Wanda was preceded in death by both of her parents. She is survived by two siblings, a brother, James R Perry Jr of Williamsport, Md. A sister, Lori Keeney (John Keeney) of Woodbine Md. She will be missed by her niece Crystal Wright (Ronnie, Cory and Brayden Wright) and nephew Kyle Keeney.
She will also be remember by her special friends: Annie Brown, Nancy DeGrange and Victoria Roche Koogle.
A special thank you to Dee Brown who supported Wanda for many years as her live-in weekend caretaker thru Community Living Inc but above and beyond that, she was her chosen family.
Most of all, A special thank you to her sister Lori and brother-in-law John (Wanda's angels on earth) for all the care and love you gave to her through the years. The family will hold a private service celebrating Wanda's life at a later date. ENJOY YOUR CASTLE AND FLY HIGH SWEET WANDA.
