Wanda Louise Christmas passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at the age of 63. Beloved mother of Jaleesa Clara Christmas-Rogers and the late Jeffery G. Christmas Rogers, Jr. In addition to her daughter, she is also survived by two brothers, Charles and Troy Christmas; Godchildren, Armani Celestine and Jamari Riddley; former husband, Jeffrey Rogers, Sr., as well as a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to her son, Wanda is also preceded in death by her mother, Clara Louise Christmas-Saulsby; step- father, Clarence Saulsby; grandparents, Harriette Rodgers and Joseph Christmas; siblings, Major Christmas, Cedric Christmas, Sr., Adolph "Dolphie" Christmas, Sr. and Charlotte Diane Nicholls; sister-in-law, Chloe Christmas and nephew, Ronald Nicholls, Jr. All are invited to attend a Celebration Service honoring the life and legacy of the late Wanda Louise Christmas at Faith Full Gospel Baptist Church, 3112 Paris Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70119 on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 10 AM. Interment Providence Memorial Park and Mausoleum. Visitation 9 AM in the church. For the health and safety of all, everyone in attendance is asked to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
