Waltraud Ferrari

Waltraud Ferrari, 81, of Pittsfield, MA passed away at her home with her family by her side on Saturday, April 2, 2022.

She was born in Weisstein County of Waldenburg, Germany on January 18, 1941 to Wilhelm and Emma Meister.

She was predeceased by 3 brothers and one sister all of Germany.

Known to all as Wally, she worked as a dedicated CNA at Craneville Place of Dalton where she was adored by her patients and coworkers for over 30 years.

Wally loved her home and family. She also loved her garden, her beloved pets, and most especially the love of feeding wild birds.

Wally's favorite vacation was feeding the seagulls at Brewster Bay, Cape Cod with her daughters.

She leaves behind her husband of 55 years, Peter V. Ferrari and two daughters, Christine Ferrari and Patricia Ferrari-Behan, predeceased by her son in law Carl Behan all of Pittsfield.

Graveside services will be held at St. Joseph's Cemetery Mausoleum, 222 Pecks Road, Pittsfield, on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 10:00am.
