Walter "Chip" G. Adams, 67, resident of North Swanzey, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 29, 2024, in the comfort of his home ending his hard-fought yearlong battle with cancer.
He was born a son to the late Doris L. (Lowe) and Charles E. Adams on October 31, 1957, in Keene, NH.
He served in the United States Army for 6 years from 1976 through 1982. Chip was the proud owner of C&L Disposal, L.L.C. for 22 years. Previously having worked at Kingsbury Machine Tool and Precitech. For many years he did autobody work in his small shop and was remembered for his beautiful paint jobs. He was a hard worker and known by many. He always had a smile to share and time to talk. And could always be counted on for a favor and known for putting others before himself.
Chip enjoyed going to the Monadnock Speedway and working on classic cars. He loved spending his Sunday mornings eating breakfast at local diners. He often wondered what the waitresses thought at the truck stop diner since he would show up with different women every other Wednesday, little did they know it was either a daughter or sister. His favorite time of year was Christmas, always looking forward to picking out a tree at Windswept Mountain View Farm and attending family gatherings, especially the large family swap.

He is also survived by his siblings, Doug Adams and wife, Linda of Keene, Charlene Beaulieu and husband, Bernie of Marlborough, Pammy Pelkey of Fitzwilliam, Charlotte Small and husband, Tim of Surry, Colleen Adams and significant other Reese Every of Swanzey, his four grandchildren, Sofia and Landon Washburn, Shane and Amelia Patch, best friends Donny and Cindy Smith of Troy, Nick Puopolo of Richmond, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
