Walker Earnest Lowe, Jr., passed away August 14, 2021 at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, TN. He was born July 18, 1949 in Laurel, Mississippi. Walker was a Boy Scout in his youth with his mother serving as troop leader. He attended White Station High School in Memphis, TN and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Walker was a veteran of the United States Army, working as military police in helicopter pilot training and receiving several medals, sharpshooter expert badges and commendations. Walker attended White Station High School in Memphis, TN and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. In his spare time, he was an avid golfer, bird watcher and photographer. He collected antiques, loved animals and was a model airplane enthusiast.
He was preceded in death by his father, Walker E. Lowe, Sr in 1951 and his mother, Kathleen Spencer Lowe in 1969.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Lollar Turner; daughters, Rubye Turner Duckworth (Daniel) and Autumn Turner Porter (David); grandchildren, Deliya Duckworth, Delaney Duckworth and William Porter IV; sister, Sandra Lowe Carson (Gilbert) and nieces, Hollye Carson and Robyn Carson.
Family Funeral Care in Memphis, TN has arrangements and a graveside burial service will be held at 10 AM at Tyro Cemetery at 7725 Looxahoma-Tyro Road in Tyro, Mississippi on Saturday, August 28, 2021.
