Passed away October 21, 2021. Wade was born near Bel Air, Maryland on January 13, 1936. He grew up on a western MD farm, joining the Marines at age 18 as a heavy equipment operator. He built roads in Puerto Rico and Okinawa for six years.
He then met and married Darlene, his wife of 58 years. They had one daughter, Brenda.
Wade Liked to travel and so he joined the army as an engineer. His 23 years military service included Germany and combat duty in Korea and Vietnam. While in Korea, he had the opportunity to climb Mt. Fuji and was so proud of that feat. He did his last five years in EOD training troops from around the world.
He retired to Littlestown, Pa and went into business with his wife and brother doing graphics for 22 years. Wade and Darlene then retired to Florida.
He loved to play volleyball and enjoyed having fun. Wade was a life member of the VFW and American Legion.
He is proceeded in death by daughter Brenda and grandson Joshua. He is Survived by wife Darlene, granddaughter Crystal, two brothers William(Lois) of Westminster, Md and James(Helga) of The Villages, Fl.
Wade will be interred in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. Services will be conducted by the VFW Honor Guard.
