Vyonne Lavona "Pete" Dearbonne, 91, of Beaumont, died May 12, 2021. She was born on April 26, 1930, in Lilbert, to Maude Marie Cooper Self and Arthur Leslie Self.
Survivors include her daughters, Sandra Bridges and her husband, Colby, of Meeker; Kim Waller and her husband, Larry, of Nome; and Leslie Engman and her husband, Kevin, of Meeker; son, Kara Dearbonne and his wife, Elaine, of Fred; grandchildren, Maggie Kotz; Kiley Sawyer and her husband, Mike; Elizabeth Bridges, Kori French and her husband, Clint, and Chase Engman and his fianc?e, Demi; great-grandchildren, Kamryn Elliott, David Bridges, Sophia Sawyer, Mason Kotz, and John Collier French; and great-great-grandson, Tyus Edwards.
The family would like to extend a special thank you and appreciation to her caregivers, Charlie Kay Spears, Alma Turner, and Barbara Mingo. She loved you.
She is preceded in death by her husband of seventy-one years, Bill Dearbonne; son, Kelly Dearbonne; parents; grandson, Layne Dearbonne; granddaughter, Sarah Bridges; one brother; and four sisters.
A gathering of Mrs. Dearbonne's family and friends will be from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., Saturday, May 15, 2021, at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 15, 2021, at China Cemetery, China.
