Vivian Christine Kirby, age 82, of Sevierville, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024.
Vivian was known for her compassionate spirit and kindness, especially through her thoughtful gesture of sending cards to those who were sick or going through difficult times. She cherished her family, friends, and her church community. Her friendly demeanor endeared her to everyone in her community, where she was well-known and loved. A passionate supporter of UT sports, she proudly cheered for her Volunteers.
Born and raised in Sevier County, Vivian took great pride in her heritage. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Virginia Reagan, and her beloved son, Jeffrey Kirby.
She is survived by her devoted husband of nearly 61 years, Andy Kirby; loving children Jennifer Kirby and Brian Kirby (Haley); cherished grandchildren Elijah Davis and Jolee (Hunter) Killam, Maggie and Sadie Kirby; as well as several dear cousins and extended family members.
A gathering of family and friends will take place from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM on Friday, July 19, 2024, at Atchley's Seymour Chapel. A funeral service officiated by Pastor Ed King will follow at 12:30 PM. Following the service, a graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM at Knob Creek Cemetery.
Vivian will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her legacy of kindness and love will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
