On July 8, 2022, Vivian Ann Feild passed from this earthly world, surrounded by her family, to be with Jesus.
Funeral services were held on July 12, 2022, at Jenkins Funeral Home in Burnet, Texas with interment to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Vivian was born December 2, 1944, in Tahoka, Texas. Her mother Annie Bell Patterson raised her and her siblings in Llano, Texas. Vivian met Jack when he came to the house with her brother Kenneth. Jack and Vivian married October 27, 1962. In 1971 they moved to Katy with their three children. They returned to Burnet in November 2002. While in Katy, Vivian was a member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, Spindletop Charity Barb-Q-Team. She was the "go-to" mom for all her children's friends and the mom you could count on to help out with the bookfair at school, make sandwiches for track meets, or help with building floats for the rodeo parade. Vivian was also a member of a fantastic four where she enjoyed shopping, dining out, and socializing adventures with Trisa Smith, Barbie Cullum, and Clara Dragseth. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
Vivian is preceded in death by her mother, Annie Bell Patterson, sister, Wilma Wade, and brothers, Earl Schoolcraft and Kenneth Patterson.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Jack Feild Sr., daughter, Barbara Smith and her husband, Mort; sons, Jack Feild Jr. and his wife Verna, Ricky Feild and his wife Michelle; grandchildren, Curtis Smith, Callie Smith, Ashely Feild, Cassidy Feild, Justin Feild, Jace Feild, Connor and Gabi Bennett, Morgan Bennet, Ross Bennet and Dwain Sutton; sisters, Janie Castro, Carolyn Lawson, and Betty Strand; sister-in-law, Jan Whisenant. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Vivian also had extended family that she loved as her own, Kim Cottrell and her children, Courtney Collins, Brittney Eckermann and her husband Derek and daughter Reese.
