On Friday, September 24, 2021 Vivian Beatrice Comer, at the age of 100, peacefully passed away in Marietta, Georgia where she resided with her daughter, Joan Comer.Vivian was born December 20, 1920, in Newport, Tennessee. She was the daughter of James Clark and Ollie Clark McCartt. Vivian was a mother and housewife who dearly loved her family. She was an avid reader of books, news, loved mystery movies and her crossword puzzles. She and Clayton raised their children, Joan and Connie, in Elkhart, Indiana then moved to their retirement home in Morristown, Tennessee. During this time, Clayton Comer was a Real Estate Agent for Coldwell Banker and Vivian enjoyed assisting him with his real estate career.
Vivian was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Ellsworth Comer Jr., mother, Ollie McCartt, father, James William Clark, sister, Aundria Marie Newman and brother-in-law, Carl Dewy Newman, sister, Georgia Eileen Trent and brother-in law, Grant Vance Trent. Survivors include her loving daughters Joan Comer, Connie McNeese and grand-daughter Rachael Kara.
