Virginia Mae Wilhelm (nee Ramsthaler), 95, went home to be with the Lord on January 24, 2021.
Virginia was born May 27, 1925 in Akron Ohio to Fred and Gladys Ramsthaler. She graduated from Norton High School in 1943 and was a lifetime resident of Norton. She and her husband, Edward were members of the First Baptist Church of Barberton and enjoyed playing Bingo at the Seniors Programs in Norton, Barberton, and Wadsworth. She was also part of Norton's AARP Program and a lifetime member of the Norton Historical Society. Virginia was a strong, but gentle soul, who was loving and caring to those around her.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Edward; brother, Robert Ramsthaler; sister, Doris Kubic; and son-in-law, Glenn Snyder. She is survived by her children, Barbara Snyder, Edward (Karin) Wilhelm and Fred (Sandy) Wilhelm; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Bacher Funeral Home, 3250 Greenwich Rd, Norton, on Friday, January 29, 2021 from 10 to 11 a.m. Funeral services to follow at 11 a.m. with interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
