Virginia Roper Warren 82, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2019 at the NMMC. She was a seamstress and homemaker. She enjoyed embroidering, crocheting, flowers, working in her yard and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at Waters Funeral Home on Monday, June 24, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. John Cagle and Bro. Daniel Hines officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Church Cemetery.
She is survived by (3) daughters, Rhonda Potts (Keith) and Renae Wooten (Robert) all of Guntown, and Tammy Wheeler (David) of Tupelo; (3) sons, Michael Warren (Patti) of Tremont, Dean Warren (Sandra) of Baldwyn and Marty Warren (Debbie) of Guntown; sister, Nita Spigner (Louis) of Ozark; (9) Grandchildren, Michael Warren Jr. (Amanda), Lori Lewis (David), Madison Warren, Leslie Bennett (Eric), Laura Potts (Brad Pressley), Cody Wooten, Katie Wooten, Ty Wheeler and Grant Wheeler ; (7) Great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Crockett Clifton and Della Lee Raburn Roper; her husband, Curtis Buddy Warren; brothers, Clinton Roper and Lowell Roper.
Pallbearers will be Ty Wheeler, Grant Wheeler, Cody Wooten, Michael Warren Jr., Vaughn Warren and James Lewis.
Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.
